Petrush Petrushevski (Skopje, 1986) graduated with Cum Laude from the Faculty of Music in Skopje (class of prof. Velko Todevski). He received his Masters degree in double bass performance from the same institution. During his studies, Petrushevski took part in numerous master classes, seminars, state and international competitions, receiving numerous first prizes and Grand Prix. As a chamber musician, he performed concerts in Macedonia and abroad. As a soloist, he performed along Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, FMA Symphony Orchestra, and gave recitals in Serbia, Kosovo, Czech Republic, Croatia. Petrushevski has been a member of many European and world orchestras, including Jeunesses Moving Orchestra, No Borders, Young Euro Classic Orchestra (under Heinrich Schiff), Young Musicians International Symphony Orchestra (under Igor Coretti), Gustav Mahler Jugendenorchester (under Philipe Jordan), Lucerne Festival Academy (under Pierre Boulez), performing concerts and tours in Europe and the world. Petrushevski works as an Associate Professor at FMA in Skopje, and is a doctoral student at the same institution.
